When is a stream chosen, and can it be changed?

Streams are chosen at the end of JSS 3 after a counselling session with the form tutor and parents. A change is allowed once, within the first term of SSS 1.

Can a student drop a subject before WAEC?

Yes, at the end of SSS 1 a learner may drop to nine subjects, and again to eight in SSS 2, provided the four compulsory subjects remain.

Does the school register candidates for WAEC and NECO?

We are an approved centre for both. Registration is handled by the exams office in the first term of SSS 3, and fees are billed on the fee ledger.

How many mock exams will my child sit?

Secondary students sit termly mocks from SSS 2. Tutorial candidates sit weekly mocks, plus 8 to 20 full-length CBT mocks depending on the programme.

Are past questions and study materials really free?

Yes. The past questions library and study materials are open to the public, with no account required.

Do you offer remedial support for weak subjects?

Afternoon remedial classes run Monday to Thursday, and subject teachers set targeted follow-up work after each continuous assessment.

Is there support for university applications?

The counselling office supports JAMB course selection, Post-UTME preparation and direct-entry routes through JUPEB and IJMB.
